Review on 🚗 Enhance Your Nissan Pathfinder/Frontier's Dash with Metra 99-7581 Dashkit by Seth Gomez

This product was used in a 2007 Nissan Xterra with Pioneer double din head. If you have a single DIN application for Xterra then this product is likely a great solution. However, when using the double DIN standard, you only need one block, so the rest of the product ends up in landfill. To top it off, it was impossible to use this fairing with the Pioneer AVH-X2700BS without mounting the unit too deep into the dash (ie not flush) as this part was smaller than the front of the unit. Since there wasn't much room between the dash and the sides of the stereo, I cut out the top and bottom of the double din panel and attached it to the unit itself. The installation looks normal and nobody could notice the changed equipment details. Two stars because I used part of this product for its intended purpose, even if the ridiculous part of the product is waste.
