Review on Lynx Audio SW 828V2 Amplified Subwoofer by Sarah Zepeda

After spending hours installing my stereo, I plugged this thing in and, wait, nothing! After going through the manual and ALL my connections, I tested them on the meter and also replaced that unit with a real amp and speakers that I knew worked. Everything except the block was fine. After using the troubleshooting section of the guide I found that by setting the gain to almost zero I could get the unit to run long enough to prove it had a signal and was making a sound. Unfortunately, the device would shut down (I'm guessing it's a self-defense mechanism) and keep turning on and off. I would have called someone for help but there was no contact information with the unit and NO helpline. I finally broke down and took the rig to the dealer who found the same results. So I have an amp that costs $150 and doesn't work. I want to return it or even fix it under warranty but there is NO WHERE to get it fixed and you can only return it within 30 days. So now I have a $150 paper. I am very dissatisfied.
