Review on Google Pixelbook Go: A Sleek & Lightweight Chromebook Laptop with Extended Battery Life & Touch Screen - Just Black by Dwayne Pore

Build Quality + Battery Life + Light OS = Win

Excellent hardware. The entire body is made of a lightweight metal that reminds me of magnesium, but I could be wrong. Judging by the pictures, I assumed that the corrugated underside is a rubber pad that was glued on. Not this case. It appears to be the same metal as the rest of the body. There are 2 rubber strips on the front and back to give some grip, but most of the bottom is metal (dissipates heat well, very neat design). Thin laptops often have weak screens. When you buy a laptop, check the screen for "flexibility". I don't like the curves of the screens and it passes with honor. The keyboard is great. The trackpad is very responsive and works well. Trackpad click is a bit loud for my liking - I wish it was MacBook Pro-like haptic feedback. The F keys are tricky. You can hold down the "Application" button (where the capital letter lives) and use the top row as F1-F10. Do you need F11-F12? I couldn't find it anywhere on the support page. I had to run the support chat to find that the same app hotkey uses the number keys F1-0 (F1-10) and then -= for F11 and 12. It works, but I don't like how complicated it was to look up information. I know you can also treat the top row as F-keys by default, with a toggle in settings. Chrome OS is good. I think it will be better. I'd love to see more of the trackpad gestures I've come to love on a Macbook. Three finger swipe to reveal virtual desktops would be a good place to start.
