This is my first experience with weighted blankets. This one seemed so heavy when I first put it on the bed. My husband has no problems and usually sleeps warm. So I bought a twin size and put it on the side. It took a few changes to how I make my bed. Firstly, you don't want to dangle it around too much as this works off the bed. And you don't want to use it over a blanket that the other person in bed is using as they will pull the blanket off the bed with them. I use it as my only blanket for myself and fold the regular blanket in half on my husband's side. On me lies a light blanket for beauty. I sleep soundly most of the night. It keeps heat in and around my body so I'm comfortable. This works fine for me.
