I really like these bags, the HEPA filter really works, the dust doesn't leave the packaging area. When I think about it, there is actually no dust outside the bag in the bag compartment. I order 12 bags at a time because the Kirby vacuum works, but you have to change bags when they're at the fill line (that's about half a bag) and clean the roller. Don't skimp on your money and don't leave your bags full to the brim. This means that you have left dirt on the carpet, which will settle through the carpet pad to the subfloor and shorten the life of the carpet. Spend an extra dollar a month to add several years to the life of your carpet. Highly recommended!
