Review on Hannspree Hanns G HW 191D Widescreen TFT Monitor - Wide Screen, Premier Quality Display‎ by Chad Schoell

At this point I am so fed up with doing business with this company. I realize that the company doesn't really endorse their products and that the company's gimmick is the seemingly fantastic "3 year" guarantee that Hanns-G likes to advertise on every website where they sell their goods. In my experience, this supposed 3-year warranty (1 year apart from the LCD panel) does not really exist. When I hear from the Hanns-G manager that the specific problem I was having with my 19" monitor is "never heard of or seen before" and their subsequent support call was due to something about their technician, that I spent without watching the video Waste of time (at Hanns-G's request) to say that "it must be an LCD panel", it becomes clear that the sale of $70 replacement LCD panels to cheated customers is a real Hanspree business model. Nothing is being embellished at the moment. It's been over 3 months of delays, unconfirmed emails, poor service, listless responses and disappointing results at the end. I think there is a reason why Hanns G and Hannspree, far from being world famous market leaders, tend to conquer the market by seriously undermining their price competition. Bottom line: save a few bucks, cross your fingers, and then hope you don't have to contact customer service!
