Great vest, well made, bulky enough for warmth but doesn't prevent dog from moving. I love that it covers the chest and upper abdomen to keep the snow out. Easy enough to put on and my dog doesn't mind. Caveat: It works quite a bit. LARGE must match the Australian Shepherd. I bought a large for my 34 lb mini aussie and it barely fits. There's no way that would suit the standard Aussie. Consider the sizes and be very generous. ANY doubt about the size, be sure to buy one size up. Size aside, this is a really great vest coat and I highly recommend purchasing it. UPDATE: I need another vest like this for my second Aussie this year, this girl is standard but only 42lbs. On my own advice I bought a large X-tra and it's too big! So I dug up my plus size from last year and it really fits my 42 lb girl. But hardly!
