The hub came very quickly and was neatly packaged. After removing the old part, I noticed that the new one was made no worse than the original, if not a little stronger! I would advise preparing for a major cleaning when removing the old part. A video I watched suggested removing the entire laundry basket and I agree it would be more convenient if I had one, but I didn't bother removing it and the exchange went fine . You have to lean into the tub to get there. So if you are small or suffer from vertigo, it may be best to remove the tub. This part is involved in the blocking of the laundry basket during spinning and partially during agitation. . Replacing this part WILL NOT SOLVE the agitator plate problem. So if the agitator moves incorrectly or wobbles, you 100% need to buy and replace a new agitator plate. The wedges on the agitator plate will wear out and it will not agitate properly. Don't hesitate as you can damage the driveshaft (gearbox) splines if you run them for too long, which is a big and expensive problem.
