Not knuckle friendly
4 stars because they are made well and the compression is good. There is ample space in the foot area, but the length is short. It pulls up to the knees, but slides down. For short people, I'm 5'6". But the downside is the fairly thick seam across the toes which comes right across the knuckles. Very very uncomfortable, especially when wearing shoes. Will not repurchase, I need to wear shoes when walking.

- May not be effective for people with severe varicose veins
