I was a little worried about buying these but they turned out to be a lot better than I expected. We purchased 2 of these sets specifically for guests and to use with the Homegear platform's metal frame queen bed. They also work great when the frame is split in two, and together when the frame is queen-sized. My wife and I used a queen bed because we usually sleep on a queen bed. We actually used the mattresses the day they arrived in the mail because we had guests. We both slept on mattresses and had a great night's sleep. Not sure if this would be good for very tall people or humans, but it worked for us (5'10").
