They are easy to put on and take off.

Get something. Seriously, these things protect you. Pros: Obvious security for you and others. That way you can see where you'll be dodging rough terrain, those inevitable potholes. They also announce you clearly to every car, motorcyclist, etc. So bright! They really make enough light to light your way whether it's dusk/dawn or midnight. There are three lighting settings - solid bright light, solid brighter light, and flicker. There are three position settings - snap them to low, medium, or high - and all face forward. Battery - no need to deal with batteries. And, hey, it comes with a detachable charging cable. They're easy to slip on and off (tip: tougher if the laces are too loose) and durable. You won't even notice they're there until you turn them on. The fact of the matter is that these lights illuminate on your boots and point forward. You already have your shoes on, they make it easier to get up and down. No adjustment required, no straps to snag or cause forehead breakouts. Cons: Battery life. While the product states 4 hours, I charge mine after every run or they die on the next (my usual runs are 45 minutes - 1 hour). I always use mine at max brightness. Note: When the batteries are low, the light will not start to dim (which is good), but the red light on the side will flash. something you can't easily (if ever) observe while working with them. The charging ports are on the bottom. It's a little fiddly to plug them in if you want to keep them on your shoes. However, I find that going with a smoother charging connector helps with the waterproof design. That probably makes it "attractive" too, if you're interested. A bit pricey in my opinion (although worth it given the pro list and other options available. Enough that I also bought a second pair for my husband).

Pros
  • SECURITY - Long-lasting lithium-ion batteries are quickly recharged via a small micro-USB and will keep your activity light running for 2.5 hours using the high setting, or up to 5 hours on the default setting. Projects beams 30 feet forward and three lighting modes - including standard, high and flashing.
