If you need protection, I don't know what that's for you. After finally getting it onto the iPad, which isn't well explained and doesn't click into place very well, I slid it off the sofa armrest onto the floor. Chance must have done its job. The iPad wasn't hurt, didn't hit the wooden floor, but the case fell apart immediately. The only thing that didn't impress me was the design. They don't seem to get together or stay together. Multiple places where the gum dangles and dangles.
