04/19/2021 - I bought it on 10/22/2019. About 2 weeks ago the device either stopped holding a charge or something else was wrong. I just tried opening the back, but while some of the screws are loose, others appear to be rusted and frozen. Looks like I'll have to open it up to properly dispose of the battery. Very disappointed. My Bohm speaker continues to serve me well (although not a shower speaker like this one), it's over 7 years old and has the same battery. I also have to say that the sound has gotten "mushy" in the last 4-6 months. in the shower. Voices are no longer as clear and crisp. Seems to be on all podcasts. My previous rating: The sound quality is acceptable for listening to podcasts. As long as it is remembered. It seems like a year has passed since I bought it. The battery still holds a charge. Enjoy!
