Quality control issues
I've tried several 49" Q80Ts from different manufacturers. The first had two dead pixels that surfaced within a month. The second had a quarter size mark on the screen, possibly damaged since delivery. #3 has vertical streaks from DSE (other sets were much cleaner). #4 was the keeper until a dead pixel surfaced overnight, slightly off-center. The image is beautiful and bright which is why I want this particular set. but the flaws are disappointing. I'm currently using #3, the best of the worst until I'm ready to risk another purchase. 5/21/20 - I've tried 6 of these things. dead pixels. The last one had over a dozen dead pixels. What's wrong with Samsung?
