Not only for babies. Anywhere you have cracked or rough skin, this product is great. My doctor recommended when I had hemorrhoids and my buttocks area was very tender to relieve that area. Also great for the underbust area that is sore from sweating and exercising and the bra strap was rubbing me wet. The only downside is that it is an ointment so it has an oily feel and therefore cannot be used everywhere. The smell is characteristic but not unpleasant and not super medicinal.
