The dummy battery makes bad contact with the Fuji XT3

The dummy battery (the "battery" part of this article) is slightly smaller than the Fuji XT3 battery. It's less than a millimeter shorter, but short enough to keep the metal strips on the breadboard battery out of contact with the camera at times. If the camera is used as a zoom webcam, for example, a slight collision with the tripod often leads to the loss of contact with the dummy battery and the camera switching off. I can tell it's a contact issue because if I push an empty battery further into the battery compartment, the camera turns on again. It sometimes takes many minutes before contact is reestablished and the camera stays on. I've since corrected this by adding a few strips of tape to guide the bottom of the battery, making it artificially longer, but it was a Christmas present for my mum and if I wasn't there she never would have . I was able to fix it, which would effectively render it unusable. I know this article isn't advertising XT3 compatibility, but it is advertising XT2 compatibility, which uses the same battery as the XT3, so I can only assume the same issue would have occurred on the XT2.
