Would highly recommend this shelf. Got this to replace a similar shelf that broke which is even better than. Disclaimer, I didn't install it, my dad did, but when I look at it it seemed like a pretty easy process. The brackets are not attached to the shelf, so you can move them freely to find the best position for you. It didn't show up in the description before I bought it, I thought the mounting locations were already fixed so it was a really nice surprise. The brackets have screws that tighten to secure them and spacers that hold the glass in place and prevent it from scratching against the metal screws. I will say that screwing it in at an awkward angle can be awkward unless you mount your shelf very high. Also, the mounting screws are very thin, so we had to replace another shelf. The screw broke when I tried to screw it in and it only took a little effort and the right angle to split it right down the middle. Railings are also very handy as they prevent things from falling forward off the shelf, which used to be a problem.
