Great ideas - Anthropologie fans beware

I'm a fan of Japanese sewing books. They are always beautifully photographed and the directions (though sparse) are well illustrated. This book is no exception. If you're a fan of the intricately twisted and draped bodices sold by retailers like Anthropologie, this book will give you a few "Aha!" moments. Yes, some of the designs are outrageous, but many more are as wearable as they are. Plus, the outrageous ones are fun to read about, and with basic sewing skills, you can pull back a little to add some exciting design elements to knits. I really appreciate the focus on knits as they are very forgiving. These patterns are primarily for knitted tops (the "hooded top" is wacky yet oddly adorable). There'
