Fulfilled warranty - replaced defective memory

Fulfilled warranty and replaced memory, now it works and no more errors on the laptop. Item not delivered as new, in blister packaging. The item shows up as a hardware problem after installation. When I ran a memory diagnostic, nothing happened. Unfortunately, I installed a new hard drive and operating system at the same time, so by the time I found out what the problem was, the refund period had already expired.
