Driving with one hand is challenging. This spinner is just what I needed. I've had it for about a month and even if I use my hand again I leave it! This makes it easy to turn the steering wheel in the tightest of spaces. However, remember that this isn't a suicide pen - it's not a pen at all, it's a weirdo. It is marked on the product page and in the accompanying illustrated instructions with a large cross over the handle of the spinner and shows the correct use - with the palm of the hand. I guarantee if you try to hold it and turn the wheel it will fall apart. I think that's what happened to the people who say it's out of their hands - it should never be in their hands. I would and would recommend this to people whether they need single handed riding or not.
