My daughter was thrilled when the egg hatched and then it didn't even hatch properly. We were patient and played with him, we did everything right. You could hear him trying to peck, but nothing happened. We had to peel the eggshell and THEN the bird finally does its hatching ritual once the egg is gone. A pretty big disappointment.
