Review on Modx by Aaron Bannister

I like that we have so many options for building our website with modx- We can easily create any page or layout without having someone else do it! Sometimes things don't work as well together (like when adding an image in cck) but overall its been great using this CMS system.

There are some plugins out there which will give us more customization than what is included by default within module builder(for example custom CSS). It would be nice if they had another option where users could make their own themes/plugins from scratch instead of relying strictly off existing ones offered through other developers who may not always update them regularly enough. Its also good because now we dont rely solely upon third party hosting providers such as godaddy anymore since all content creation has become self hosted via modules built into the code itself.(and thats something i love about how easy editing pages became once again!) I like that mod is pretty easy for someone with no programming experience at all (and even those who do) in order get something up it's not too complicated or hard core! Also very flexible so if there are any changes needed they can be made without much difficulty - this has been our biggest issue when using other frameworks where we have had issues getting things changed as easily after release of new version by developers/companies etc..
