I am an avid Yeti fan and own many items from each line. However, I am very disappointed that this straw cap leaks quite badly. As you drink, the drink will come out of the base of the straw, run down the yeti and drip onto you. I've been very careful to keep the straw fully open and I don't drink fizzy drinks or anything else that might cause problems. Just regular water and Gatorade. Another big problem is that if you open it after a while, causing a drop in pressure, your drink will shoot out of the straw like a fire hose. I'm talking regular water again and Gatorade isn't a fizzy drink that creates pressure. by itself. I also had a problem, which I can only explain with a vapor barrier where I couldn't suck anything out of a straw. After playing with it for a while and then tapping on the countertop it worked again. Also, I have two of these and they both have the same symptoms except for the vapor lock. A redesign will definitely come.
