Review on HP V27I 27-Inch Computer Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Ultrawide Display, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter by Jay Kidd

Super monitor in my opinion

This is my second 27 inch desktop and laptop monitor. My other is about 20 years old and only connected via an old VGA cable and port layout. I needed an HDMI model for a new laptop and it fit perfectly. It connected to the laptop just fine, and Windows 11 remembers the display settings when it's turned off (e.g. due to a power outage or on purpose) so the laptop is always display 1 and the monitor is display 2. The settings are easy to use and intuitive. At first I turned on the blue screen feature, but my eye doctor said it was a gimmick and didn't really add any value other than slightly dimming the screen. It's there if you want to try it, though, and it's easy to set up. No dead pixels, no charging issues, and it sits firmly on the shelf above the laptop.

Pros
  • The stand the monitor sits on is a little wobbly, but otherwise meets my needs.
Cons
  • The image started to pixelate after 60 days of use for 4 hours a day.
