Description of 🚰 Automotive Authority LLC 1.25" Fill Hose with Flats for RV Concession Fresh Water Tank - Complete Marine, Boat, Camper, Trailer, and RV Plumbing Solution (3 Feet)

1-1/4" ID Fill Hose with Flats (3 Foot Length) - The last picture shows a 10 ft roll and does not represent shorter lengths - The length will be within +/- 3". This 1-1/4" hose with flats is to be used with hose clamps to connect RV gravity water fill with the RV water tanks (no clamps included). The flats allow for easy clamping. Made from ethylene copolymer (great flexibility with no kinking). IAPMO approved, Heavy duty construction. For lengths shorter than 10 ft we can not gaurantee flats on both ends.

Works hard though and still has those damn ridges to house bacteria.

Damn tough. Smooth sections make it easy to attach to a van tank and gravity feed. I WOULD LOVE if someone made a really flexible hose WITHOUT combs with 1 and 1/4 inch ID. Can not be found. These combs contain bacteria.

Exact replacement 2012 Forest River Catalina Santara 281BHS

Fast delivery, exact replacement. The original installation length was 43 inches. Ordered 5ft due to hose configuration. I wanted to make sure that the clamping area was in the attachment points without a dressing. River correctly installed and secured the tank. A three inch side-to-side movement of the reservoir caused a leak at a joint after the tubing in that joint had worn out. This is probably common practice in the industry. The reservoir has been secured so this will never happen again…

  • Nice packaging

  • Hard to tell

It won't fit anything 1-1/4 ". DO NOT BUY THIS

So this inlet hose is advertised as for RV fresh water tanks. I'm building a trailer and have a Valterra Filler Pocket with the correct size 1 hose outlet -1/4 purchased. Unfortunately, the ID of this hose is a little under 1.25 and has almost no expansion capacity. I spent more than the cost of this hose buying various fittings, and PVC piping to find something, that works with this hose. I've found that if I use a heat gun and try enough hard enough I'll partially go into adjustment. I've…

Nice pipe but check your fittings first.

I think this tube does what it's supposed to do and I understand it's for a specific application but although it matched my new tank spouts perfectly I've had a very hard time fitting brackets find which will act as a splitter. Everything was either too small to seal or too big to fit, especially Lowe's. I ended up finding some PVC barb fittings at the local hardware store that were still too big, but I managed to grind the barbs down enough that they were small enough to barely fit the pipe…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing here
