Quality gardening materials

Second purchase of this kind of frost blanket - superior quality vs plastic tarps. My spouse is an avid raised bed gardener - consistently "jumps the gun” planting vegetables in the Spring which frequently necessitated the use of a frost blanket. The materials permit light to shine on the (now quite expensive vegetables plants @ $4.85 each), and avoids tomato plant injury during cold nights. Happy owner

Pros
  • Widely Used: Plant blankets are not only is used to prevent frost but also to allow plant seedlings to develop in early spring and prolong the growing season of plants.
Cons
  • The blanket fabric may not fit all types of plants and gardens, making it a limited option

So glad I had it in my review

If you live in Colorado you understand why May is called May, it may be 70, may be 20, it may rain, it may snow. Well, we've had it all in one week including 8" of heavy wet snow and temps dipping to 29° overnight. My strawberries are going crazy with dozens of berries forming but they all came through just fine! Such a relief!

Pros
  • vensovo
Cons
  • The fabric may not be effective in protecting plants from pests and insects

These worked!: my feedback

Lightweight. Covered two flowerbeds along the side of our patio room. Temp went into the teens for 2days. Uncovered snd the plants are fine!

Pros
  • Too big and thin to cover plants. Hard to keep in place
Cons
  • Did not protect my plants from the cold, they all died.

Not s expexted! best in my review

I have covered my ground covers with freeze protection for 5 years. This is the first time I used this brand. I used it because it was a thicker mil and I thought it would be better. It totally shredded in less than 2 months! I have never had this problem before.

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The fabric may not be long enough to cover larger plants and gardens, leaving them exposed and unprotected

Easy to use good for me

We needed a frost cloth to cover a flower bed. The cloth is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The cloth can be trimmed to fit a custom-sized flower bed. This is exactly what we needed.

Pros
  • Durable Fabric: The plant cover is made of soft and durable material, lightweight, moderate thickness, reusable, and maintains temperature very well.
Cons
  • The blanket fabric may not look aesthetically appealing when covering plants and gardens

Not Durable for my opinion

This fabric degrades quickly and does not hold up in heavy weather. It starts falling apart once exposed to sunlight and rain.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The fabric may not allow sunlight to penetrate, which can harm plants that require direct sunlight

It really Works! in my review

I used this product to cover my two rows of leaf lettuce. We have several light frosts and the lettuce is still being harvested! Its great to have fresh taste lettuce.

Pros
  • 14.96 x 14.45 x 6.57 inches
Cons
  • The fabric may be expensive for its limited use and short lifespan

Not durable. - my new review

I purchase two of this and installed it beginning of December. I started to see small tear a few weeks ago and tried to patch as best I could but to no use. It is like tissue papers now. It only lasted a little over a month and we are not done with cold night yet. Can't even return or exchange.

Pros
  • I put this cloth over my avocado tree three weeks ago and it is falling apart when I need it most.
Cons
  • It did not work!!! My plant died, I’ve had it since my dad passed away in 2015, I’m so sad

This plant blanket is total junk

This plant blanket totally disintegrated due to exposure to ultra-violet radiation in less than 3 months.I contacted the company to get a refund, and they have totally ignored me.

Pros
  • Plant Covers
Cons
  • The fabric is not durable enough to withstand frequent usage and may tear easily

Not durable - my new review

I got this for both frost protection and to protect my plants from cabbage worms. It turned into tissue paper in less than 2 months.

Pros
  • How to use plant covers: You can place plant cover directly over your plants, then secure the plant frost blanket with rocks, soil or staples. You can also use greenhouse hoops to support the floating row cover, leaving enough room for the plants to breathe and grow. You can also cut your plant covers frost blanket into different sizes for different uses.
Cons
  • The fabric may not work well in areas with strong winds, as it can be blown away easily
