Works with Quest Link

As other reviewers have noted, this works with Oculus Quest Link. However, you need to take care of a few things. Make sure your cable is compatible with Quest Link. The cable can only be connected one way. If the connection doesn't work, try unplugging the USB-C cable and plugging it in the other way around. Finally, not all USB 3 ports can be connected directly to the motherboard. If Link doesn't work, try a different USB 3 port.

Doesn't work with Apple Mag-Safe charger

Bought to use with new Apple Mag-Safe chargers on iPhone 12pro. They did NOT work. It's a great idea that we have some flexibility in moving from USB-A to USB-c during this time. We have several 120V to USB-a power adapters and thought this would be a great product to help bridge the transition. We also have USB-a wall sockets and thought this product would allow us to continue using those wall sockets. I do not think so! Works great with my Logitech Streamcam camcorder

I used this adapter to connect my streaming camera to my USB 3 Type A port. The stream camera has a Type-C connector, so you'll need to adapt it for a USB 3 Type-A if your computer doesn't have a Type-C connector. This adapter makes it possible. IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS FOR PS4 and other USB-A applications, flip it!

I thought it was a flop - my PS4 read my Thunderbolt Silicon Power drive as USB 2.0. Don't worry, this adapter may have to work with USB-A (polarity) rules, but you can just flip the USB-C side and you have full USB 3.x, and devices like the PS4 will recognize such. Link to Oculus Quest works on PC!

Same as 3 other types claiming 10 Gbps. None of them work reliably over USB 3.0 speeds.

Two in a pack and both will NOT work at 10Gb/s. These two devices kept crashing computers when plugged into a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and trying to copy files to two different external NVME drives, but worked fine with 5GB - USB 3.0. I've tried 4 different types that take up 10GB but NONE of them work at that speed. One guy, not this one, read almost 10GB but didn't write at full speed. All four types worked fine on USB 3.0. Works well but consider if this is really what you need

They appear to be well built and work well. I've used one quite a bit to connect a 5-bay external case to my computer and transfer and compare a bunch of files on the computer and external drives. The speeds were decent, if not as fast as I expected, but I can't tell if that's due to this adapter or other factors. Generally they work and I have no reason to believe that will change.
