Be very quick when soldering to the terminals

As others have said, the switch is very sensitive to heat on the terminals. I soldered 4 wires successfully but when soldering the 5th wire the whole terminal came out of the plastic housing. The housing just melted and the terminal slipped out. Low cost made this product attractive but you get only what you pay for. I'll be looking for another brand, the time wasted is not worth it.

Bad threads best in my review

Four of the ten switches had bad threads, preventing them from being mounted to a panel as intended. 2 stars for being dirt cheap, however I am skeptical of how these would hold up in any serious application.

  • This is a fantastic little switch for the price. It well made and should last through many operations.
Cons
  • The toggle switches are quite small and may be difficult to operate for individuals with larger hands or limited dexterity

Good switches, but fragile

I bought a package of 10 of these, even though I only needed two. It was a good thing, as one switch broke a terminal off while I was connecting a wire to it. I think the body was already cracked, because there was very little or no strain on the switch. The second one disintegrated as soon as I applied heat from my soldering iron. I've been soldering for over 50 years and never seen anything like that.Having said that, since I had a package of 10, I continued on without further incident. After
