Prices at local stores are a joke. $5 for a lightbulb. Bought 10 packs here much cheaper and so far so good only used 1 so far.

Works well. You don't really need 10, but 10 on Amazon is slightly more expensive than 1 or 2 blister packs at your local auto parts store.

My Postbus has the brake and tail lights going out all the time so I bought these to have a bunch on hand. Easy to install and works just as well as the original. I will continue to buy these!

Special project with DC solenoids. A lamp connected in series provides a pulsed current to turn on the solenoid. As the filament heats up, the resistance increases, which reduces the holding current in the windings. This reduces heat and extends the life of the solenoid.

These appear to be solid, well made lights. I always keep spare taillights on hand since I went to my local auto parts stores and found they didn't work! Boat trailers are notorious for using up lightbulbs. Having had vintage cars I've found that switching to LEDs can be a real pain as many older cars just don't like retro LED bulbs. Replace the lamp every few years, use dielectric grease on the socket, keep reflectors clean and lens seals intact.
