Worked fine, I did not notice a loss in reception. Instructions would have been nice, i.e. which way does the adapter screw go in, hex wrench side into antenna or into car.It looks so much better than that long antenna on my mini cooper convertible.

The original long antenna on my wife's 2011 Mini Cooper S Convertible was falling apart and would make a "thwap, thwap, thwap" noise hitting against the roof when on the highway. Unscrewed the original and screwed this little guy on. Very easy replacement. No noticeable change to the reception and no more thwapping! It it quite small. When the top is down, this little thing looks so much better than that long stick that was up there.

Love my 2022 Mini Cooper S. Did not love the long antenna that came standard. Found this Stubby on Ebay and thought I'd try it. I am NOT a mechanic in any way but WoW it took longer to get the little guy out of the package than it did to install it. NO tools required. Just unscrew the long wire antenna, screw in the Stubby. I got this because I sometimes put a kayak on my roof rack and it did not clear the stock antenna. This is the right size and I don't notice any drop in reception.
