I was amazed at how good they were when they arrived. They were also large, so any size bar of soap would fit in nicely. Durable and well made, these soap holders also have a rubber bottom to keep them in place. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a good, inexpensive soap dish.

Many years ago I bought a two-piece Rubbermaid soap dish. The top allowed water to drain into the bottom, keeping the soap dry and not softening. The soap dishes are a good size and made from nice smooth durable plastic. The top fits snugly onto the bottom and the bottom is rubberized to keep it in place. I don't find the edge on the top too sharp as one reviewer said. You can take off the top for cleaning. They are very attractive and I plan to use them in the bathroom for my homemade soap bars so they don't stay in the water and melt. I plan to use another one in the kitchen to attach a Brillo pad. I was looking for a soap dish to store liquid hand soap bottles near the sink. I was tired of water from the faucet dripping onto the area around the soap bottle and using folded paper towels under the soap bottles was a very unsatisfactory solution. These bowls served well in catching the water dripping from our hands. It's easy to remove the top and pour out the accumulated water when the bottom is full. However, I'm only giving it 4 stars because the lid doesn't close as tightly as I'd hoped

These pack a powerful punch - who would have thought? They don't really think of soapboxes as objects that "hit hard" in the same "thought" but damn they are. They look beautiful, easy to open and clean, they keep the soap bar dry while ALL the water drains through the slots, not the splinters but the sizeable 1/8"-1/4" slots, this is sturdy shell with smooth surface. At the top, the soap is clean and dry. This is a cleaner environment as the soap stays dry. and it doesn't rest on water at all.
