The shoe tree doesn't compress enough for my liking when I insert the shoe tree into the shoe. I like them to compress more than this does in order to help keep the pressure on the inside of the shoe. I suggest buying one size larger than it says too if you want pressure inside your shoe like I do.

Very good shoe trees. With WFH, my dress shoes have not been worn for over a year. I have been neglecting them and they have been collecting dust. I got these shoe trees to preserve my shoes, they work way better than just stuffing them with paper.

Good product but the backs of the shoe trees that are meant for the heel are very pointy. Haven't been using them long enough to see any issues but I’ll come back to update if it does prove to be a problem.

I like for my shoe trees to be under some spring tension in length when inserted in my shoes. These run small. They fit, but not snugly.

They do the job kind of ok and look nice. But, there needs to be a stiffer and stronger spring in order to keep the tree fitting firmly while keeping the shoe in good form.

These run small for Men's size US. I bought the 10-11 Large, and they fit a Women's 10-11. I wear a size 43, US 10, UK 9, and the 10-11 and the top comes about an inch short of the length of the interior volume of the shoe - doesn't reach the toes. Good quality, cedar smells fresh. Will order the 11.5-13 and see how that goes.

I purchased these shoe trees to use in my shoes after recently getting into leather footwear. Somewhat recently, I purchased some woodlore shoe trees, and can say that these trees are quite comparable. The split toe maintains tension in the vamp of the shoe, while the wide heel makes sure not to stretch the leather of your shoe. These are actually easier to insert than my woodlore trees, although they do not smell quite so much, and are somewhat more expensive than other similar trees.Pros:-Fit

Shoe trees help your shoes - and sneakers - keep their shape and reduce any smell from sweaty feet. Cedar is the best wood for this. I did not know there was much difference between shoe trees until I got some not so great ones. They work but were not very well made.These Houndsbay trees are the good ones! They are well made and have a spring action that helps them fill the shoes. The cedar smell keeps my shoes nice. They are even labelled right and left! Highly recommended.

Sizing was correct in my experience so I’d recommend going off the size chart. The packaging the products came in was great. They must have a good marketing person as the box is well branded and on the back tells the story of the company which was founded by two attorneys in Houston if I remember correctly.They have a strong cedar smell and only time will tell how well they last. I bought the two pack and I will be purchasing more for my wife and I as the two I ordered fit my shoes perfectly.
