2 Pair Thick Round Climbing Shoelaces Hiking Boot Laces Review

I bought a cheap pair of waterproof hiking boots this winter for when it was wet and/or sloppy outside.The boots exceeded by expectations in terms of quality (they're ugly as sin, though) but one of the laces shredded on the metal lace holders (eyelets? is that the right term?).Anyway, these laces look identical to the ones that came with my boots by are obviously much better quality. I bought these hoping they would stay tied. Interestingly, they do in humid or wet weather, but not when the humidity is below around 40 percent. In that situation they come untied in 1/2 mile walk.

Used as my leather vest ties. Thanks for attention. Nice stretch and looks good. Perfer this over leather strings because it's washable.

They’re good quality laces they’re similar to the original cord material with good ends. The color is excellent. I was so happy , ordered another pair.

My Hoka low hiking shoes have a rough edge on one of the eyelets and shredded the original shoelaces. I went to multiple local shoe stores and couldn't find anything close, but then discovered these. They are almost identical to the original Hoka laces in every way. Perfect!

Thickness seems to match the pair I replaced on old Asolo hiking boots. I wear a size 8 and 135 CM lace length is right for my feet and the way I tie. 145 CM would have matched length of original laces. Hope they'll keep me in these boots a few more years.
