Description of ๐Ÿ๏ธ Shogun Kawasaki ZX6R Front Axle Sliders - 702-4429 - Years 2013-2021 - MADE IN USA

Shogun Axle Sliders. The makers of Shogun frame sliders up the ante with Shogun axle sliders. Shogun axle sliders are manufactured to the same precision and quality control standards as Shogun frame sliders. Axle sliders help protect expensive suspension components in the event of a crash and may significantly reduce the cost of repair. Each slider is made of the same proprietary plastics blend as Shogun frame sliders. Each UV resistant puck is shaped to accommodate a spool lift stand, in addition to other types of stands. Several Shogun Axle slider kits like Hon, Kaw, Suz and Yam units come with a CNC machined stainless steel axle nut. Some other manufacturers of axle sliders do not let the rider know that there is a lot of unnecessary effort involved in the installation of their kits. No need to drill through your stock axle nut - Shogun provides one for you that is the same grade or better than OEM. Rod component is machined, not an all-thread piece. A machined rod has fewer stress risers than all thread and therefore greater structural integrity during a crash. Well written instructions with color photos make installing each unit fast and easy, with minimal modification necessary to your motorcycle. MADE IN THE USA.

Does not fit the Z400! for frame and accessories

Product Questions and Answers says it will fit Kawasaki Z400 but not, don't buy for Z400, it will probably fit Ninja 400 but not Z. It breaks on the right side, but the left side is already moving. The product feels good so I will buy the same brand but one that fits. This is the only reason for 1 star

It's absolute GARBAGE

Seriously, spend your money on a pair of good sliders. Just as I was trying to get the sliders off my bike the bolt they sent loosened and is now stuck in the motor mount. Everything was made to specification according to the owner's manual and the bike never broke. I was just trying to put some Loctite on the screw. But seriously. Leave this product page and buy quality sliders for your bike. It's worth spending a little more money.

Pros

Cons
  • Boring gear

Provide adequate protection in the event of a motorcycle crash or at very low speed. Problems arise when these slides catch something like curbs, potholes in the road, or curbs on the track. The rider caught the curb and propelled the bike further, causing more damage. He bent the slider and nearly broke the bolt in the engine. In my case, that didn't help much on the 2015 track. In fact, I've never used frame sliders again since because of what happened. They're great for little misjudgmentsโ€ฆ

  • Incredible Money Box

My 2015 ZX636 low side cornering on a cold day in freezing temperatures while driving at about 20-30 mph. There were some minor scuffs on the footpegs, mirrors and stock exhaust , but there was no damage (not even scratches) to the fairing. I was very pleased that the Shogun frame shifter did what it was supposed to do. After this incident I immediately bought another Shogun Frame Slider Kit, convinced of its ability to minimize damage at low speeds. I recommend anyone considering buying thisโ€ฆ
