Review on 🏍️ Shogun Kawasaki ZX6R Front Axle Sliders - 702-4429 - Years 2013-2021 - MADE IN USA by Kevin Vanlaere

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was very pleased that the Shogun Frame Slider did what it was supposed to.

My 2015 ZX636 low side cornering on a cold day in freezing temperatures while driving at about 20-30 mph. There were some minor scuffs on the footpegs, mirrors and stock exhaust , but there was no damage (not even scratches) to the fairing. I was very pleased that the Shogun frame shifter did what it was supposed to do. After this incident I immediately bought another Shogun Frame Slider Kit, convinced of its ability to minimize damage at low speeds. I recommend anyone considering buying this (compared to more expensive products), you can't beat the performance at this pretty affordable price! Note: As you can see from the picture, the clasp was quite plastic. and is severely deformed upon impact. I figured I might have to cut it off the motor mount and then drill out the remaining fasteners, but I was eventually able to pull it out with the extension head using some force.

Pros
  • Body and Frame Hardware
Cons
  • No Power
