2017 2018 Nissan Keyless Remote KR5S180144106 Review

Bought for a 2018 Nissan Rogue and after trying to program it at 2 dealers and a locksmith it doesn't work. They said it doesn't fit my car.

I took it to an independent locksmith who programmed it in 15 minutes and cut the laser key. I highly recommend buying this brand as the locksmith stated that some of these other brand remote keys do not work for Nissan.

The picture shows the original Nissan key fob and the one I received does not have the Nissan logo but works great. Tracking was not possible as the DHL tracking number had no information when entered, but overall the experience was good. Compared to the price of the key fob at the dealer, the key fob was an absolute bargain. I just need to find a local locksmith to program the key. Brought to local battery shop for programming. He had two problems. 1. The battery was 1 amp below specification for the car, so the battery had to be replaced. When it is then programmed, the programming must be done on both fobs. It worked well alone, but when they tried it together, they failed. You can only program one or the other, but not both. Since this item is no longer for sale, I suspect others may have stumbled upon this program. I bought one of the batteries and they are programmed
