Description of 24'' X 24'' Xspec 1/2" Thick EVA Foam Interlocking Exercise Mat Floor Tiles - 48 Sq Ft (12 Tiles) For Gyms & Fitness Rooms

Each pack comes with 12 tiles and 24 borders to cover 48 square feet. 1 Tile = 24" x 24" (2 ft x 2 ft). The mats have 0.55" of thickness (including foam and rubber top). The mat's rubber top and EVA foam is good for traction and softens impact. The mat provides cushion and protection for hard floor surfaces in the garage gym, fitness room, basement, workout room, weight room, etc. Excessive weight may cause indents on the tiles. Easy puzzle assembly with borders to round out the edges; borders are removable. Clean the mats by vacuuming and wiping it down with a dry mop. (Air out before using to get rid of rubber smell)

Strong rubber chemical smell, top finish falls off easily.

I wish I didn't spend so much money on 2 packs of these mats because the rubber chemical off-gassing smell won't go away at all. So, after a week now I've taken up my entire new floor and thrown it onto the back lawn. I can't exercise and do deep breathing with these things in the room. Perhaps soaking it in some vinegar and water will help.Also, the top finish came off too easily after some heavy items were placed on the mats.

Light years better than 3/8 " mats!

1. These are thick, quality mats. They seem identical to the type that you find in fitness gyms. 2. They hold our 300+lb treadmill with no ripping or obvious dents. 3. They fit together easily and provide a nice, finished look for your home gym. 4. They are so much more comfortable and durable than the typical home "play mat" style of foam tiles. Strong toxic rubber odor

It's been a month… The mats are sturdy easy to install, however, they have severe toxic rubber smell and very hard to get used to the smell.

Comfortable and easy to install

We installed this as flooring for a room in our basement. (Gym). This was super easy to install. I love the cushion in gives and the rubber top for strength. Great for exercise rooms where you may be jumping and/or lifting weights.

Exactly like ones in a gym. Strong design and the right weight to keep from moving around.

These mats are exactly the same as you would find at a gym, which is what I was looking for.Great design, strong, easy to clean.Good weight so they do not move around at all.The added edging pieces make it a finished flooring set.
