This item doesn't come with a lengthy manual, but I figured out how to use it fairly quickly. You see, the key is to put the vinyl *in* the envelope. So it works as intended by the manufacturer. This doesn't make your record invincible, but it does keep it dust-free. I haven't tested it for all chemicals, but I think it also protects against contact with non-solvent liquids. I did find that this item could be used with flexi discs which was good as that is one of the main reasons I bought them.
