This lamp has definitely brightened up our economical guest bathroom design. I don't feel like this light illuminates the room if you choose a darker color. I plan on changing the bulbs, let's see if there is a difference. If not, it won't be a deal breaker.

This lamp is well made and looks like an old style barn lantern. Very easy to install with an adjustable bracket that can be used to mount many types of fixtures. Shipping was a lot slower than many other items I've ordered, but it's looking great now.

I don't know what you mean by motion detection. I didn't see this option here when we installed it. Yes, it's a bit dark, but maybe a brighter bulb can fix that? But I like it as a farm style vanity! Perfect.

This was the perfect update for the small downstairs bathroom. Good size not too far from the wall above a small vanity and light projected onto the mirror and sink. Good price! Super sweet! I recommend this lamp to everyone! 5 Stars!

Very bad lighting, I think I should have guessed that with black curtains over the light. They look good in daylight but only offer a dim room at night. IMO not ideal for bathroom vanity. Unfortunately I didn't know until I had 2 of these installed so I won't repeat the job out of laziness.

I have searched everywhere for a lamp that suits my needs. No glass (they can look dusty and stained), they should look like country houses, they should fit the space well, they should be well made. This light fits. I love this mount! Will buy from this brand/company again when I replace more lights in my house.

Bought these for both bathrooms in my house. So far they are installed in the master bathroom and it was very easy to do! They are boring like the others mentioned in other reviews. This is fine with us as we also have recessed lighting and windows in our bathrooms, but if you need bright light this is NOT for you. Overall we are very happy with our purchase. It goes well with our style and for the price you can't beat it. :)
