Great! Easy installation. Updated 02/27/2017. The pears didn't even last a year. Updated: 07/19/2018. I bought a second set of these lamps although they didn't even last a year and only 3 months this time. So now I can safely say the quality is poor and lower the rating from 5 stars to 2.

bulbs are much shorter than in the photo. But more importantly; they are about twice as bright. I bought a replacement bulb or bulbs for a blown one in a GE microwave profile and the old bulb looked exactly like the photo, but that's not what I got. Lesson learned: go to my local hardware store/big store and buy what I can see first.

The product appears to be working well. Unfortunately it didn't fit my old GE Profile JVM1860SD microwave, although the instructions say it requires WB25X10019 bulbs. After further research online, it turned out that there are two types of WB25X10019 bulbs: some have the pins closer together, others have them further apart. These are further apart. Unfortunately I had to send the bulbs back and have to keep looking for something to match my lamp.

I only bought this because I didn't know any better. I searched for GE Microwave hood light and this listing came up. And I paid almost $8 for just 2 bulbs. One of them stopped working after only 3 months. So I decided to do another search for the bulb specs (G8 base) and found a better deal: [10 Pack] Simba Lighting™ Halogen Bulbs 20W 120V G8 Base Bi-Pin Shorter And I bought 10 bulbs for 10 $. The price is much better and the bulb works exactly the same. I don't like being ripped off.

A few years ago I needed to replace a lightbulb in my microwave hood and bought a new lightbulb at a manufacturer's parts store for about $15. These bulbs cost 2 pack for about $8. So these bulbs cost half the price of the manufacturer's bulbs and work just as well. It's a G8, two-pin socket. Check your needs - you can always find the pen base in the parts list by model number. The pins of the new lamp are a few millimeters shorter than the original lamp. Also, one spare bulb has shorter pins than the other spare bulb. After several attempts, I managed to install a lightbulb, but not one with really short pins. The installed one has since popped out again due to the short length of the tine. both bulbs are defective. I requested a lamp replacement or refund from the seller on 07/31/21 and have not received a response. This is a good quality lamp apart from the problem
