that works wonders for car paintwork. Use a 3M Super Thin Foam Pad for this. anything else you might be disappointed. Not very good with gelcoat. I think next time I'll have to buy gelcoat varnish.

If you don't have the full set of 3M #1, #2, #3 polishes. Then get this micro-fine polish for finishing. Almost all body shops use this and that's all I needed to know. A proper machine buffer is required and the results look professional.

I'd say this probably doesn't remove any scratches at all but improves the finish after #2. Step 2 removed light scratches after which the paint became slippery leaving a deeper shine than Step 2. Definitely a very thin composition that leaves no swirl marks. Easy to use and clean.

All that new age (chemist) talk... LOL I used 3m polishes 40 years ago and IT IS AMAZING! You number the products from 1 to 3 (UltraFine - 3). Watch out for youtube videos but this stuff is simply THE EASIEST AND BEST POLISH I have ever used.

I have not machine polished my black car but have used it several times to buff minor scuffs and/or remove other cars. Paint my bumper. I live in the city and park on the street so these little scrapes are inevitable; This polish is the best I've found to safely and effectively loosen it.
