Works best with face shield

I'm a nurse, we use this at work but share it with dozens of people. I bought my own so they're clean and there's my sweat on the bandage and there's no makeup on it.

Pros
  • Easy to use ratchet suspension design with flip up visor
Cons
  • No instructions

Comfortable and fits me perfectly!

Very comfortable, especially after adding extra padding to the liner at the back of the head. Complete seal in the face, no annoying wind tunnel behind the ears. Fat so I have to raise my voice but not enough to scream. Much better and safer than PAPR reusable paper helmets.

Pros
  • Hearing protection compatible with M-985 headphones
Cons
  • Not sure

Much better than 3M disposable hoods

I have tried using 3M disposable helmets with my versaflo PAPR and this M207 cap is much stronger and much more comfortable than thin caps. It's not that heavy, but it might feel a bit bulky and unwieldy for those with a smaller frame and head. I'm 5ft 8in and about 170lbs and it fits perfectly and weighs just right. It definitely makes all the hours in the OR a lot more comfortable and tolerable and allows me to focus more on my patients than my PPE. .

Pros
  • Meets ANSI Z87.1-2010 for equipment with limited eye and face protection; can be a handy alternative to standard face shields
Cons
  • Not bad but...
