Unreliable Equipment.

The 3M Cynch Lok I purchased was a complete waste of money. According to my experience, it is not worth the money it costs. The restrictive distribution is poorly designed, making it difficult to use in emergency response situations. The hook does not always latch properly, and the product is cheaply made. I expected better quality from a company with such a strong reputation in Industrial and Scientific products.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poorly designed, unreliable equipment.

The best of the best!

Best wooden pole fall protection. Simplicity and ease of use are second to none. High-performance equipment allows every climber to have confidence in their equipment.

Pros
  • For industrial use only. Not for consumer sale or use
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent but overpriced like most squeeze sticks

Not sure the manufacturers assume that Telekom will be the company or the utility will pay for fall protection and climbing gear, but it's all too expensive. Otherwise, this sync lock is very good; The only option I would add would be locking carabiners for belt D rings instead of twist lock carabiners. I'm used to the original Buckingham bucksqueeze but once I get used to it the cynch lock works fantastic!

Pros
  • Wide range allows user to attach different size sticks without changing straps - larger strap available for transfer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
