Surgical First Aid Tape

This tape is excellent. I make a lot of deep wounds and the 3M Blue Surgical Closure Tape is by far the gentlest for problematic body parts. It is also convenient for the patient as it can be easily removed if removed properly, causing less stress. I'm so thankful this was recently posted on Revain. Super high quality product.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Repair

The best wound care tape known to man.

This is the best wound care plaster known. This looks fantastic on sensitive skin, but also adheres very well. You can even pull it up and lower it a few times if needed. It is partially waterproof. It's by no means waterproof, but it usually lasts long enough in the shower for you to get out and bandage the wound.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Very disappointed! in Bandages and Dressings

The product seems great if only it worked for me. I have very sensitive skin to tapes and have a lot of problems with itching and blisters. I was very excited to read about this silicone band that prevents skin reactions but unfortunately doesn't hold up very well and doesn't attach the tube to my torso very well. I've at least used it to seal gauze pads, but even that doesn't work very well as the tape keeps peeling off. I'm sorry it's not working.

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Protection

Check all the options there.

If you're looking for a sleep bandage to correct your breathing through your nose, this band isn't great. Also, it's very expensive for a roll. Another reviewer recommended this and it's just not suited for this particular use. A much better choice is 3m microporous tape, it sticks much better and costs a lot less. A box of six rolls of Micropore costs about a dollar less than a roll of this silicone tape.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Great product - soft, supportive, sticks well but peels well.

Fantastic product! Used by someone who primarily uses a large Cica silicone band for a large incision. This tape is much less expensive and is used to support the muscles around the incision as these areas do not need scarring. It peels well but does not stretch even when on Cicatape or taped over itself or other paper surgical tape. It is much softer than paper surgical tape. Very reusable and washable.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Comes off easily and painlessly. Wonderful.

This tape is amazing. Before trying it on for my wife, I tried it on my (hairy) legs. The tape can be removed easily and painlessly. No hair plucked, nothing. Unbelievable. My wife has very thin/brittle skin and I try never to use tape on it. This 3M tape is different. Feels very sticky but not sticky. The tape looks like paper tape, I don't know what it is. Good for wounds. The only place it didn't stick was like a catheter anchor. The catheter pulls the band out very easily. Otherwise greatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The best in its niche

  • Not bad

Nocturnal Mouth Breathing

I learned about using easy-to-remove tape to eliminate nocturnal mouth breathing in an interview with James Nestor on Youtube. Read his book Breath for more information. To prevent mouth breathing, place a small strip (I cut a 1" x 1/2" strip off the roll) to keep your lips gently closed while you sleep at night. I've been using the method for a week and it definitely improves nasal breathing. 3M Kind Removal Tape is inexpensive and functional for this purpose. There are other products designed
