By an experienced installer.

Dude. I've been in the hardwood business for 23 years and always buy Primatech. About $280. However, mine was stolen and I was in a bind. I bought this for a small 800 foot and, let me tell you, I'm very pleased. Its solid construction and can handle anything. I take care of my tools so I checked and oiled all the screws. Works like a champ. And I saved 200 smackers. Love it!

Pros
  • Multi-directional exhaust cover rotates 360° to direct exhaust air away from user;
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Great device for the price!

I used a stapler to install a 150 square foot wall. Foot 3/8" thick bamboo base and it did its job well with no misfires or jams. it didn't budge It was easy to get the clamp depth right when shooting the clamps you need to take the time to make sure that Be sure to position the stapler properly on the tongue or the staple will land in the field.This makes it a bit slower than hammers with a dedicated pad.Great unit for the price and I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Tool-free adjustable depth gauge for correct nail head placement. Quick jam clearing features for easy maintenance;
Cons
  • Not sure

You get what you pay for

I needed to install 1000 square feet of 3/8 oak flooring. I was limited to working only in the evenings, so renting a floor stapler was prohibitively expensive. I decided to buy it hoping it would at least help me get the job done. I bought this gun because unlike most other 18ga floor staplers, it can also be used as a regular stapler. It also fires pins, which I haven't tried yet. Here's what I've experienced so far: The tool itself is heavy and solid. It comes with a 1/4" connector ready to…

Pros
  • Easily converts to a regular stapler/nailer combo;
Cons
  • Out of fashion
