Suitable for CD burning

I have never had bad recordings on these cassettes. The only problem is tape hiss, an inherent problem that is solved by the Dolby noise reduction option on most cassette players and recorders.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Some errors

Also bleeds

I bought these chrome tapes thinking they would be better than the regular version of the tapes which I found bleeds the other side from A to B and b plays backwards. Well, I was wrong, they do that too, so I have 55 minutes. Record time for one side instead of 110min. I can still use them as I bought 8 of these for $10 a volume. You might as well keep them to yourself if that's the case with these cassettes. They just get weak and don't last long.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Some things never change

A few years ago I recorded a lot on cassettes to listen to my music in the car. I had a Pioneer tape deck, which was considered the best tape deck at the time, and tried many different brands of cassette and found that TDK metal and high bias tapes were the best tapes. Well I recently bought a new tape recorder (to my surprise they still make them) and started recording again because I liked it back in the 70's. and I'm still fascinated by old technology. I decided to try TDK tapes again and am
