This was pretty quick and easy to put together for my 8 year old. He enjoyed it for several hours. It is not difficult as it may appear in the photo. Literally just ropes and loops to thread through. He played with it a bit, but grew tired of it quickly. It's not particularly durable, so more of a novelty toy. Unsuitable for use.

I gave it to my 8 year old child for Christmas. Two strings snapped within hours of assembly. We replaced the light string that came with the kit with a heavier one that works much better. Even repaired, this is not a very interesting toy for children. They played with him for a day or two from time to time, but he was almost forgotten.

Bought as a gift for my grandson. He was chosen for his familiarity with robotics. I was told that he really likes it. I grew up with kits, so I find it a painless and fun way to learn about STEM technology. It was reasonably priced so if he likes it over time I might feel comfortable with similar gifts in the future. I didn't mark the "Thickness" and "Warmth" stars because this isn't a glove, it's a robotic arm.

This thing was useless. First and foremost, you need to figure out how to cut enough rope to slip through your fingers. The thread should already be marked with where it needs to be cut so it would be easier to have the right length of thread.
