These are adapters, they will fit and work. Actually, I can't say more. The Noctua fit was a bit uncomfortable but it works, just take your time. Of course, the speed control cable is not used, but I knew about it, it's fine.

There is a standard 4-pin PWM socket on the right side. Left is what I got from Coolerguys. Note that the plastic tab on the right is much thinner than the left. This conforms to specification and is correct. The one on the left is out of spec and therefore will not mate with a standard 4 pin PWM connector. This is so wrong it's just ridiculous. I bet Coolerguys got a deal for a million pieces of junk from a cheap Chinese manufacturer and didn't bother to inspect them upon receipt.

Simple and clear. If you need a 4 pin to 3 pin adapter, you can't go wrong with this one. They work as advertised and are built pretty solidly in terms of the fan cable.

They arrived very quickly which was nice considering part of my fan controller had failed and I had to connect most of the fans before I could close the case during assembly !

So these adapters have arrived and are much needed. But after trying to use them, they worked miserably. Although they look nice and adapt 4 pin fan to 3 pin socket esp. For fan controller hubs with limited space, the 4 pin connector could not snap onto the fan cable causing the adapter to fall off the fan cable.
