Looked great from the information provided and the 5.11 has such a good reputation but they are very disappointed in this shoe. Toes and sole come off already after 6 months and very heavy compared to other similar shoes. I do not recommend them to those looking for durability.

This is my second pair because I love them so much. Ideal for shooting or as a hiking/approach shoe. Aggressive mud tread, fairly well made and comfortable. Also good service from the seller.

Not as light as I expected, but no more than a regular running shoe. They appear to be well made and of good quality, but I've only had them for a few weeks.

Really good grip comfort is fine. Feels very durable. All in all a damn good shoe. So far, so good. need good shoes I have very bad back problems and am up about 10-14 hours a day and my legs still feel good.

The 2nd pair of shoes in size 5.11 is compatible with another item in size 5.11. I wear Recon sneakers, the size corresponds to this model.

I've wanted to own one of these 511 shoes for a long time and was able to get them at a reduced price. Looks solid and will likely last a long time. I use it at the shooting range!

These shoes are very uncomfortable to wear. I feel that the internal height is insufficient and results in an uncomfortable shoe. I also wore them for a few days hoping they would "come" but no luck. I emailed 5.11 with my opinion and got no reply from them. I would not recommend them.

So it's an improvement over the 5.11 Recon trainers I have, but still leaves a lot to be desired. They're durable and comfortable, but tactical shoes aren't made for all conditions. While the Scouts have been full-on for the most part, they have a bit more support, but as far as water or mud runs end up being a mess. I wore everyday shoes, but they were so tight that they hurt a lot. This was my third attempt to find the right shoe. Easy break in and the have been comfortable everyday since they arrived. Highly recommend..

I love the shoes now that I am the right size. They seem to be well suited for everyday EMS use. The size didn't fit so I had to order 3 times to get the right size. Ordered a full size and went from regular to wide.

They look great and have a solid construction, but it may take a few times to break them in. The sole is a bit stiff at first. Also, I wasn't sure what I thought of memory foam insoles, but they are comfortable and can always be replaced.

I took advice from others and ordered this shoe up a size - it works like a charm. I conscientiously wear 10.5M and a pair of 11.5 fits perfectly. Great shoes with chunky soles. Ideal for motorcycling in warm weather. With proper care, I expect this pair to last for several years. At this price it's worth it.
