I was hesitant to buy this model after reading several 1 star reviews complaining about durability. Definitely light and thin, but good enough to hold and shoot a pro. I love that it reaches 50 inches in height because it's perfect for setting up and standing before shooting. Totally recommended, especially for the price. Get the job done!

Bought for my Trekker spotting scope. The visor is not as light as on a standard camera. He weighs a few pounds. I was able to mount the scope without any problems. However, when the legs were fully extended, he had a slight curve at the very bottom, where they were thinnest. I managed to crash it again. I believe this will work fine until I expand on the last part. Haven't used it in the field yet. For the price it seems ok.

Light but weak tripod. The camera mounting shoe is difficult to attach and will not fit without a little rocking pressure. And the fear that it will eventually break. I have a Canon Powershot ELP110HS. The small screw on the tripod is a bit long. Thus, the camera is not stretched to the limit and dangles. I was able to fix this by going to the local hardware store to buy small 14 cent washers that were stacked on top of the screw to even out the distance.
